    ABRUZZO

  • Rocca dei Bottari Montepulciano 1997 - This red wine is produced from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in the vineyards of the Rocca dei Bottari estate in the low hills of the province of Teramo. The wine matures in barrique (small barrels) for a minimum of 24 months. This aging produces a Montepulciano of irresistible quality and character. The refinement in the bottle takes at least one year. Its remarkable depth of flavors is intense. The wine has soft tannins, which creates a beautiful wine that has aged very well. Pair this wine with red meats or loin of pork and game.
  • Bonaventura Montepulciano 1999 - This wine, produced with 100% Montepulciano grapes grown on the hills along the coast of Teramo, is the perfect complement for red meat or game. The ruby red color of this wine hints at what is to become before it is ever tasted; rich extractions of big, black Bing cherries. Aromatic oak, a subtle whiff of honey, and a round, well-balanced flavor makes this Montepulciano an extraordinary value.
  • Bonaventura Montepulciano Etichetta Nera 1998 - This wine, produced with 100% Montepulciano grapes grown on the hills along the coast of Teramo, has been aged in big oak barrels for thirty months and in the bottle for six months, giving it a gentle vanilla aroma and a round, well-balanced flavor. Intense cherry, smooth and dry, the aromatic profile of this full-bodied wine makes it suitable for matching with red meats, game and other hearty dishes.


    CAMPANIA

  • Antiche Terre Taurasi 1996 - This red wine is produced from 100% Aglianico grapes grown in the vineyards of the Vertecchia Estate, which is very near the area legally named "Vigna Sublime" because of its exceptional natural peculiarities. Taurasi is red ruby in color with reflections that verge on orange. The wine has an intense, pleasant bouquet. Aged for a minimum of three years in hardwood casks and then another six months in the bottle, Taurasi is characteristically spicy, full-bodied, complete, full-bodied, authoritative and dry. It is an elegant wine. Taurasi is great by the glass. Best served with meat, game, and cheese.


    FRIULI-VENEZIA

  • Cescon Tralcetto Pinot Grigio 2005 DOC - This white wine is made from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes from the Friuli Grave region. The wine is a deep straw yellow color. The bouquet is nutmeg, peach, acacia, citrus, and cut flowers. The flavors are dry and fresh with strong fruit and orange peel, light and lively with a crisp, racy aftertaste of pleasant golden apples. There is a good touch of minerality in the finish. This wine goes well with seafood dishes, light chicken dishes, salad, Cantal Asiago, Brie, Camembert, Garrotxa, Cheddar, Crottin, Feta, goat cheese, Mozzerella, Ricotta. Serve chilled.   • Valentino Cabernet Franc DOC 2000 - The Colli Orientall del Friull, Eastern Hills of Friuli are twice blessed; first with a soil rich in loam and sandstone, then with a favorable climate, both harmonizing in wines known for their refined balance of color, flavor, and aroma. The Valentino Cabernet Franc is ruby red, nearly purple with an intense herbaceous bouquet. It has a full tannic and light alcoholic taste. When young serve with red meat and roasts. When aged it goes well with game and cheese.


    LAZIO

  • Monteporzio Catone Frascati 2006 - Frascati is Lazio's most famous wine, dating back to 1200 AD. The grapes (Trebbiano and Malvasia) grown in Monteporzio Catone create a soft, smooth wine. The wine's flavor is reminiscent of delicate almonds and has a beautiful dry finish. Romans drink Frascati with everything from fettuccine to fish, to fruit, crisp, clean and pale. The Romans recognize Monteporzio Catone Frascati as one of the best quality wines in the Lazio region.


    PIEDMONT

  • Abbona Barolo Pressenda 1998 - This red wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the classic appellation of d'Alba in the Pressenda vineyard. The wine is aged 18 months in oak barrique and 12 months in oak barrels. The wine has an intense garnet red color that with aging becomes almost orange. It has the aromas of raspberry, cherry, leather, mocha, damp earth and dried flowers. Juicy but laid-back, with sweetly spicy red fruit flavors nicely framed by harmonious acidity. Builds slowly on the back end, revealing considerable complexity, with substantial tannins and brisk acidity giving the wine solid backbone for aging. It goes well with roasts, game, and strong cheeses.
  • Abbona Barolo Terlo Ravera 1998 - This red wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the appellation of Novello in the Terlo Ravera vineyard. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrique and 18 months in oak barrels. The wine has an intense garnet red color that with aging becomes almost orange. The fragrance has an intense odor of violets. The wine has a dry and velvety taste of cherry and raspberry. It has soft tannins that lead to a smooth finish. It goes will with risotto, game, and roasted meats.
  • Abbona Barbaresco Faset 1999 - This red wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the appellation of Barbaresco in the Faset vineyard. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrique and 12 months in oak barrels. The wine has an intense garnet red color that with aging becomes almost orange. It is an intense full-bodied wine with a smooth finish. It goes will with risotto, game, and roasted meats.
  • Abbona Nebbiolo d'Alba 2000 - This red wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the classic appellation of d'Alba in the Pressenda vineyard. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrique and three months in the bottle. The wine has a ruby brilliant red color with a gentle and delicate fragrance of raspberry and violet. The wine has a dry and velvety taste and a smooth finish. It goes well with risotto and fondue with truffles. As it ages, the wine is a good match with roasted meat and game.
  • Monteoliveto Barbaresco DOCG 2000 - Barbaresco is a distinctive red wine produced from the Nebbiolo grapes of the Piedmont region. Garnet red with orange reflections, this wine is pleasant, ethereal odor and features a dry, robust, velvety taste with a full body and slight hints of fruit. It accompanies red meats and cheese and is well suited for aging.
  • Monteoliveto Barbera D'Alba DOC - Barbera D'Alba is a highly elegant, ruby-red wine with brick-colored highlights; packed with body and structure merging with very attractive traditional wood. This wine should be served with main courses such as red meats, game, and stew. You can also enjoy many cheeses and antipasto with this elegant wine.
  • Monteoliveto Barolo DOCG - Considered to be one of Italy's finest wines, Barolo is produced from the Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Piedmont region. This deep, red wine has vibrant and distinctive odor and features a dry, harmonious taste with great body and structure. It is a splendid accompaniment to red meats and cheese and is particularly well suited for aging.
  • Monteoliveto Dolcetto D'Abla DOC - Made from the Dolcetto grapes grown in the piedmont region, this Dolcetto D'Alba possesses a deep ruby red color with purplish reflections. It has an intense odor with mild fruit overtones and a soft, balanced taste with lingering hints of almond. Goes particularly well with appetizers and fresh cheeses and can be served chill.
  • Monteoliveto "Jort" Lange DOC - This white wine, made from Chardonnay and Arneis grapes, is straw colored with hints of amber. It has a fresh, delicate nose and dry, mildly bitter, herbaceous taste. Goes well with appetizers, seafood, and soft cheeses.
  • Veglio, Michelino, & Figlio Moscato D'Asti DOCG - Moscato D'Asti is 100% produced from the Moscato grape. An October harvest is followed by a traditional vinification using the Charmat method with cold fermentation resulting in a wine of bright gold color. A typical Moscato characteristic is its fruity bouquet and sweetness in taste.
  • Veglio, Michelino, & Figlio Barbera d'Alba 2004 DOC - This red wine is made from 100% Barbera grapes from the Diano d'Alba-Roddi in the Piedmont region. The wine was soft pressed, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and matured for 6 months in large oak barrels. This full-bodied wine goes well with dishes of meat and cheese. Family owned; Estate bottled.
  • Veglio, Michelino, & Figlio Baric n.v. DOC - This red wine is exclusive to this winery. It is made from a blend of Nebbiolo and Dolcetto grapes from the small Serralunga d'Alba vineyard in the Piedmont region. The limestone soil is dry and there is a southern exposure. The wine was soft pressed, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and matured for 1 year in large oak barrels. This wine is robust yet delicate, dry, and not overly aged which preserves its fruitiness for drinking young. Uncork a few hours before drinking. Excellent with meat dishes. Family owned; Estate bottled.
  • Veglio, Michelino, & Figlio Barolo 2001 DOCG - This red wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the small Serralunga d'Alba vineyard and from the Diano d'Alba (Langhe) in the Piedmont region. The limestone soil is dry and there is a southern exposure. The wine was soft pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then it was aged for 2 years in 5,000 liter oak barrels and refined in bottles for 6 months before release. This wine has a delicate yet intense bouquet of fruits and spices. It has a harmonic body and delicious taste. Serve with dishes of fine red meat and game, perfect to conclude an exquisite meal. Family owned; Estate bottled. This wine will age at least 10 years in proper storage.
  • Veglio, Michelino, & Figlio Dolcetto di Diano D'Alba 2004 DOC - This red wine is made from 100% Dolcetto grapes from the Bertinetti vineyard in the Diano d'Alba in the Piedmont region. This vineyard is so steep that all work must be done by hand. The limestone soil is dry and there is a southwestern exposure. The wine was soft pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. This wine is dry, harmonic, and has a taste of almonds. Serve with everyday meals, appetizers, meats, and pizza. 10,000 bottles produced. Family owned; Estate bottled.
  • Veglio, Michelino, & Figlio Langhe Nebbiolo2004 DOC - This red wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Diano d'Alba in the Piedmont region. The wine was soft pressed, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and matured for 1 year in large oak barrels. This fine wine goes well with meat and cheese dishes. Family owned; Estate bottled.


    PUGLIA

  • Di Marco Primitivo Selezione Aura 1998 - This red wine is produced from 100% Primitivo di Manduria grapes grown in the vineyards of the Di Marco Estate, which was established in 1872. Deep purple in color, this Primitivo has a slightly spicy nose with hints with hints of roasted meat and a rich full-bodied taste supported by smooth tannins. Pairs well with roasts, lamb, and strong red sauces.
  • Di Marco Rosso Primitivo - Gold label 1999 - This red wine is produced from 100% Primitivo di Manduria grapes grown in the vineyards of the Di Marco Estate, which was established in 1872. A nose of succulent dried fruits, seductive, heavy and wild! Fabulous alone or greet with pastas, met dishes or just cheese.


    SICILY

  • Carminello Rosso 2001 - This red wine is produced from grapes grown in the vineyards of the Casa Fondata Estate, which was founded in 1902. This red blend (90% Nero d'Avola and 10% Nero Mascalese) has the ruby color of a Sicilian sunset with a distinct fruit flavor reminiscent of cassis and blackberry. The wine's unique taste is dry but at the same time smooth and rich with an overall well-balanced taste. Best served with red meats and medium aged cheeses.
  • Tola Granduca 1997 - This red wine is produced from 100% organically grown Nero d'Avola grapes from vineyards located in the Jato Hills west of Palermo. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged in French barrique (small barrels) for three years. This full-bodied wine of exceptional quality and limited quantity is one that will please and perhaps surprised wine connoisseurs. This wine has a wonderful bouquet full of blackberry and raspberry. On the palate, the wine does not disappoint adding dimensions of earthiness, herbal nuances, layers of flavors with a pleasant lingering finish. The wine is a nice companion to grilled or roasted meats and spicy cheeses.


    TRENTINO

  • Societa Agricoltori Vallagarina Marzemino 2003 - Marzemino is a native grape to the Trenttino Region of Italy. It produces a unique wine that Is lush, deeply concentrated, with up-front fruit and the subtle aroma and taste of bitter almonds and other spices. Enjoy with roasted and barbecued meats. Goes well with spicy cheeses such as Stilton or Gorgonzola.
  • Societa Agricoltori Vallagarina Teroldego Rotaliano 2003 - The wine is made from 100% Teroldego grapes and is nearly black in color, has an attractive nose of black and red fruit (blackberries, raspberries, cherries), and a hint of earth. In the mouth the wine is very soft and silky, with a huge concentration of jammy fruit, with flavors of blackberries, raspberries, coffee, earth and cherries. The wine is perfect with red fruits and berries, brie cheese, wild rice, beef and lamb, poultry, pasta with tomato sauce, pork and veal dishes, fish and shellfish, vegetables and mushrooms.
  • Vallis Agri Vallagarina IGT PARIS (Lagrein/Merlot) - The vines grow on the morenial hills near the Adige river and are harvested in the last week of September. The vinification period last for ten days with skin maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature.


    TUSCANY

  • Oro del Bardo Super Tuscan 2000 - Oro del Bardo is a "Super Tuscan" blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is aged in oak barrels for twelve months and further perfected in the bottle for an additional year. The wine is full flavored with dark fruit and soft tannins. It is an exceptional value for the dollar. It is a splendid companion to the best international dishes.
  • La Ripa Santa Brigida 1997 - This is an elegant dry red wine produced with grapes carefully grown on Fattoria La Ripa Estate in San Donato in Poggio (Florence). The wine is aged in small French oak wooden "barriques" and then refined in the bottle for a lengthy period. This full-bodied wine has soft tannins and a subtle balance of oak and earthy overtones. The wine is a perfect complement to roasts, lamb, game and other spicy dishes.
  • Alcicanto Chianti Classico Riserva 1999 - This Chianti is a blend of Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes. It is produced in the true historical center of the Chianti region. The Alcicanto Chianti D.O.C.G. is also registered with the Consozio del Marchio Storico, signified by the "Black Rooster" emblem on the label. This Riserva is matured 24 months in oak, and aged an additional 3 months in the bottle. Its deep ruby color and the scent of violets, blend with its balanced, dry, velvety character to create something special. This Chianti Classico Riserva (D.O.C.G.) is an excellent example of true Tuscan Finesse! Strong and bold, this red wine is a perfect complement for well-seasoned foods.
  • Le Torri Chianti Colli Fiorentini 2000 - This red wine is produced only in a special area of the Chianti region. This blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Malvasia, and Cabernet grapes gives the wine the readily identifiable Chianti nose, but is more mellow and relaxed. Colli Fiorentini is characterized by a brilliant ruby color, tending to garnet red. The wine has a particular and intense bouquet and a harmonious, dry, slightly tannic taste that becomes soft and velvety after opening. The wine matches pasta and is especially complementary to meat sauce, red meats, white meats, grilled meat, lamb, and cheese.
  • Villa Sonia Chianti 2004 DOCG - This red wine is made from 75% sangiovese grapes, 10% canaiole nero, 6% trebbiano, and 15% other grown in Florence, Siena, and the central part of Tuscany. The wine has an intense red, almost garnet color. It has a delicate and intense bouquet with a slight hint of sweet violets. The blend of grapes produces a pleasant quaffing chianti, fruity but dry, with no bite; it is full and harmonious, rich with noble tannins. This wine is suitable for any meal and is really an invitation to good eating. It goes especially well with grilled or roasted meats.
  • Villa Sonia Chianti Riserva 2002 - This red wine is made from sangiovese, canaiole, trebbiano, and malvasia grapes from Tuscany. The wine was aged for over 2 years in oak barrels and will continue to improve in the bottle. The wine has a ruby red color. The fragrance is perfume with fruit and spice - particularly pears and clove. The wine is semi-dry with luscious initial flavors and nice fruit concentration with a firm dryt tannic structure that lead to a lingering finish in the mouth. It goes best with grilled meats, game, and seasoned cheese. Open one hour before serving.


    VENETO

  • Rocca Bianca Amarone della Valpolicella 1999 - This red wine is produced at the Montresor family estate of Rocca Bianca. Corvina grapes, which are the predominant red grapes of Veneto, are dried on racks, placed in well-ventilated lofts until after Christmas. This extensive drying is necessary in order to concentrate the must sufficiently to create a wine of monumental character, Amarone. This full-bodied red wine is a deep, red garnet color. It has a bouquet reminiscent of peaches and raisins. Its taste is dry on the palate with scents of liquorice and violet. The wine is a perfect complement to roasts, lamb, game and rich chocolate desserts.
  • Cescon La Cesura Amarante 72 Riserva 2003 DOC - This elegant first-class red wine is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Marzemino grapes grown in the East Veneto region of Italy. The wine aged 12 months in large oak barrels, and 12 months in barriques. With an intense dark ruby color, the wine displays rich, complex aromas and presents notes of violets, blackberries, and cherries. The wine shows good concentration and acidity in the mouth.   • Cescon La Cesura Chardonnay 2005 DOC - This white wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the East Veneto region of Italy. Bottle aged for 3 months. The wine has an intense, brilliant golden yellow color. The aroma is intense and fruity with notes of peach, apple, bread rind, tobacco, and hazelnuts. Dry, rich, opulent, pleasantly fresh-tasting, with good persistence and harmony. This wine is to be served with Salmon, risotto, swordfish with olives, grilled shrimps, and fresh cheeses.   • Cescon La Cesura Merlot 2003 DOC - This red wine is made from 100% Merlot grapes grown in the East Veneto region of Italy. The wine was aged in barrique for 15 months and in the bottle for 8 months. The wine has an intense ruby color and will add garnet highlights with aging. The fragrance is complex, with concentrated hints of berries and delicate scent of spices. The taste contains hints of cherries, sweet licorice, and vanilla; it is persistent, sustained by noble tannins and a pleasant freshness.   • Cescon La Cesura Raboso Riserva 2002 DOC - This red wine is made from 100% Raboso grapes from East Veneto. The wine aged in oak barrels for 24 months, 9 months in barrique, 3 months in stainless-steel tanks, and 10 months in bottle before release. The wine has an intense ruby red color with garnet highlights. It has a brilliant bouquet, wide and full that recalls country violets and a hint of mascara.   • Cescon Marca Trevigiana Prosecco 2005 VSAQ - This sparkling white wine is made from 100% Prosecco grapes from the Valdobbiadene province. The wine was cold fermented and matured with lees contact for 2-3 months before undergoing a second fermentation in pressure tanks. The bouquet is lively floral and fruity, including pear and golden delicious apple. The flavors are distinctive and full-bodied, dry but full of fruit, including citrus, with hints of nuts and spring blossoms that linger nicely. There is a touch of cinnamon in the finish.   • Villa Sonia Pinot Grigio 2004 - This white wine is made from 100% pinot grigio grapes from the Veneto region. The wine is a straw yellow color. The bouquet is intense and characteristic: lightly floral with a hint of clove spice. The flavors are typical for the grape, crisp and fruity with hints of lemon. This wine is ideal without food. It is delicious with hors d'oeuvres and fixh dishes, particularly lobster and crabmeat. It is also an excellent companion for soups and white meats. Searve chilled.
